Twilight

If you have not read or even heard about these books, I highly suggest you do! I have never been a lover of reading books and I still am not. Maybe because my time does not allow me to do so. One day my sister (who loves reading) told me about a book entitled "Twilight". She told me it is like the Harry Potter books for an older generation. So I went and bought me the book. I LOVED it !! I then bought the other two when they came out. These books are amazing! I can't put them down. I have read them all and I am waiting for the next on to come out this fall. And the movie is being filmed at this moment and will hopefully be out in December. I fell in love with these books. So go and get your copies and READ!

"Destiny"

We woke up this Friday morning and looked out the window to this! Snow storm "Destiny" (that is what the East coaters named it) came to town. Eric was really excited! He finally got some snow. Now this is an ok snow fall. Nothing like Utah though. But it was great to finally get some snow here. Take a look at it for yourself below.

Quick Update

Ok so I am stressed out and most everyone knows this. School this semester has really taken a toll on me. I don't even like to think of school now. I am ready for graduation in May. I have been coaching the Young Women's basketball team for our ward (which we pretty much dominate at), studying for boards, homework, being a great wife and best friend to Eric, keeping up with the house chores, visiting teaching, and I work in the Nursery. I think I can handle a few more things, don't you? Sometimes I just need to take a step back and relax. I stay pretty busy these days. And I don't think that this is ever going to stop. It will just increase when we have kids. Speaking of kids- this is an updated picture of my oh-so-cute nephew Houston. I will keep everyone posted on how I am handling my everyday stresses - haha

Happy Birthday Zak !!

Zak is our cute little nephew on Eric's side of the family. He just turned 4 today! He is a Valentine's baby. He is so full of energy and life. He loves to be around his big sister and follow what she does. He makes his Uncle Eric laugh really hard and he is so cute! He likes to leave little voice memos on our phones telling us that he misses us and loves us. His favorite color is blue.He loves to help his mom out whenever he can and is going to school now. It is so sad to see them growing up. We want him to stay little. He is what Eric calls a cute little turd. Zak, we love and miss you too! We wish you a Happy Birthday and hope you have a good one. Be good for your Mom and Dad.

To My Eternal Valentine

I wanted to make some sort of card for Ashley for Valentine's Day. You know something sweet, something special. My first thought was monkeys. Send her something with monkeys in it. I remembered a website that my dad couldn't get enough of. You could type in your own message and a monkey would say exactly what you wrote. So I went to the site and found something better. Enjoy.

Because a Valentine's Day card just wouldn't do it justice....

Happy Valentine's Day Ashley! I'm so grateful that I have someone who loves me more and more each day. I'm sad I only get to spend about 4 hours with you today, but I'm so happy that I get to be with you for eternity. I promise I won't look that bad when I'm old. I love you.

Here's a little something from the vault.

Happy Birthday Derek !!

Happy Birthday Derek! Eric and I hope you have a great day. We love you and miss you guys. Can't wait til we see you in May. Derek, my second oldest brother, is now 26 and is loving life at the moment. He recently became a father to baby Houston on Jan. 23 and is married to an amazing woman. He loves being a dad and is in Nursing school and has a year left. He is a great at sports and loves to play basketball and baseball. He is very dedicated to whatever he puts his mind to. He loves the gospel and served a mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. ( I hope I spelled that right!) He loves the outdoors and loves being around family. He is a caring person and the nursing field has made him that much more concerned for others. We love him dearly and wish him the best. He deserves it.
