Cookie Party

Yesterday, spure of the moment, we decided to get together and do pizza and let the kiddos decorate sugar cookies for Halloween. It was so nice to get together and let the kids have fun. They all did very creative cookies. Some looked way tasty while a few (Remi) were caked with goo!! We had a great time, just MISSED Derek, Amber, Josh, River, and of course, Mom and Dad!!! Hoping Amb and her little family get well soon and finally get the sickness out of their home. Derek quit working so hard. And Mom and Dad hurry up with the next 2  1/2 years hahaha! We have the BEST family EVER!! Love you all!!

Scary ER

I was in the office working on posts for Mom and Dad on their mission blog and we were having this HORRIBLE wind storm. I was worrying about my huge spider web and spiders outside hoping they wouldn't blow away. I heard a loud crash and thought to myself, "The Skeletons"! So I had Avery and Remi run into Riggins room to see if they could see them still hanging. We all decided to brave the wind and run outside. This is what we found.

Me and the girls just lost it! We were laughing so hard and the wind was blowing us around. We picked up the patient and ran inside. Then this is what I found. The girls playing ER.

 I continued to work and laughing at the girls when another crash occurred. Without saying a word the girls and I look at each other. The girls take off into Riggins' room and then run past me and the office screaming. "He's down" and they flung open the door and I see Avery carrying the body past the window and into the house. We now have two patients in the ER! So each girl took charge over a patient and treated them so well. Giving shots, wrapping up their bones, and writing things down. HAHA. Avery even called her Dad and screamed, " The Skeletons fell off the roof Dad!", as she was laughing. It still makes me laugh so hard thinking about it. The fun they have.

Remi and the Fire Station

Remi had her very first field trip this past Tuesday. They headed to the Fire Station and learned about fire safety, firefighters, and what to do in a fire. She was so SHY and stayed by me the entire time. She is so different from Avery in that way. But she did have fun and loves her fire hat and stores it under her bed with all her other treasures.

Living Planet Aquarium

I took the girls to the Living Planet Aquarium last Thursday for Fall break. It was quite tiresome for me and my feet but the girls loved it and had a blast just being free to do as they wish.I am happy that I took them to go do something fun. I feel like they LIVE inside and get bored easy.

What a Ride

I like to use this blog as my journal as well. Today was a very extremely emotional day for me. It didn't help that I had not slept in two days due to Remi and her UTI that made her very sick. That was the kickstarter. I have been very miserable with this pregnancy more than the others. He is very active which in return is painful for me at times. I have a lot of pressure going on. I had a visit today with the doctor and had an ultrasound done. The placenta finally decided to move completely. "What the hell", are the words that went through my mind. I knew the date would be pushed back. I was SO ready to have the c section this Tuesday.  6 days have now turned into 18 days. I knew the news was good news. It's what we have been wanting but at this stage we were ready in a lot of ways to get him here. The doctor was apologetic and could tell I was sad. I understand that it's better for him and me for him to stay as long as he can, but all my plans have now been changed. I have to endure the pain longer, I have to be down when I want to be there for my girls. I won't be able to help Remi with her first ever costume day at school, I will miss Avery at the school parade, they won't get the annual pumpkin carving party, and I have to be down for Halloween and having my little family moments and traditions. I feel at times people feel put out or that it is made about them when it is about me and the baby and our health. I miss my Mom and my Dad to the extreme today. When I want and need to talk to them sometimes I am not able to due to time difference.  I called my Aunt Carleen and just bawled to her and talked about everything.  I have cried my eyes out today. I did text my Mom and let her know the situation and she sent me such a comforting response that I will share, " That is super great news! An answer to our prayers honey.  We did not want any complications with the placenta, we have been praying for it to move. So please count your blessings and remember it's The Lord's time table.  Maybe Riggs wasn't quite ready to come then and would be in ICU.  We don't know all but we need to look upward and find peace.  He loves you. You are his special daughter I know that.  You can do this. I'm right here everyday loving you and praying for you.  Love, your best friend Mom" I know from other experiences in my life and the life of my family that we don't know the whole picture of things and don't understand why but our Heavenly Father and Savior do and the things happen for a reason. I am grateful for the trials and hardships that make me stronger. I kind of wish I could spend the next 18 days by my parents side in Sweden to help with the work and to keep me busy and surrounded by love. I will still struggle with the little things mentioned because they are important to me and it's the little things that matter most.

Chuck E. Cheeses

 For months we have been asked by the girls to go to Chuck E. Cheeses. Well, I said before the baby comes we would go. That promise was cashed in Monday night for FHE. It was fun and we laughed and played games and Remi rode almost every ride there haha.

Nothing beats a Daddy Daughter Date

Eric had found that in Lehi would be a Food Truck rally with Disney Princesses. He wanted to take us but I had a hair appointment that evening so I said to him to take the girls and make it a date. He did just that. He and the girls had a great time, even though it was chilly, getting dinner and meeting a few princesses. He is the BEST DAD!!
